Founded in 2007, Isopod Labs is a videogame development studio aiming to deliver innovative titles for online downloads and traditional distribution channels.
The Isopod Labs crew is comprised of industry veterans with a solid track record delivering best-selling titles as a team. Formerly with Disney, Sega, Dreamworks, Luxoflux (their former company), and Activision, Isopod's three managing partners represent 60 plus man-years of experience in engineering, game design, IP development, and studio management.
Along with its initial slate of products, the team has been developing a proprietary cross-platform engine and asset workflow to facilitate rapid prototyping and quick-to-market delivery of its future titles. The company released its first game, the self-funded Vigilante 8: Arcade (XBLA), in November 2008. The team is currently working on two new projects with publisher Autumn Games, leading with Jimmie Johnson's Anything With an Engine, an explosive kart combat-racing title slated to release in 2011 on all major console platforms.
Isopod Labs currently employs 14 talented developers at its west Los Angeles offices and collaborates with some of the best contract talent in the field.
